Picking up Glasses Donation from Ocean State Job Lot--175 pairs of Reading Glasses
Half a billion people in emerging countries have no access to reading glasses.
Hi I'm Phoebe, my mom, sister and I run Rock-Paper-Scissors Children's Fund. Whenever we are working in Vietnam I notice that there are a lot of very poor elderly people. I decided that I wanted to do something simple to help them, so I started my reading glass project. So far I have carried over 700 pairs of reading glasses to Vietnam in my suitcase!
