
Our Teachers and Staff
Our staff in Vietnam, are dedicated teachers, who truly care for the children we support. Three of our four teachers, started out as students of ours!

Huỳnh Thị Quỳnh Giao
Program Coordinator
Giao attended Quy Nhon University, Binh Dinh, Vietnam where she completed her degree in teaching and the English language. Giao has been our lead manager since we started in 2013. She is a wonderful, caring teacher, mentor and human being. Giao grew up in the area where we work.

Huỳnh Thị Quỳnh Như,
Support Staff
Nhu has a Bachelors degree and teaching certificate in the English Language, and teaches English at a local high school. Nhu has been working for us since 2013, and supports all of our programs as needed, including helping us with summer volunteers who travel to Vietnam. Nhu also manages recruitment of our local student mentors.

Lê Thi Thuy Liên,
Art Teacher
Lien graduated with a Bachelors in art from the Hồ Chí Minh City University of Fine Arts in 2022. Following her graduation, she received her certificate in pedagogy, teaching art to all ages of students. Lien loves working with children and became a full time teacher for Rock-Paper-Scissors in 2023.

Nguyen Doan Minh Huy,
Music Teacher
Huy graduated with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering at the Nha Trang University in 2019. Huy was originally one of the first music students of Rock-Paper-Scissors, in 2013. He has always been very talented at the violin, so we provided extra, professional violin classes while he was in High School. He is now a part-time music teacher for us.

Huynh Quoc Thang, Part-time Admin Support
Thang has a Bachelors degree and teaching certificate in the English Language. He currently is the owner of a number of English language learning centers. Thang occasionally works for us providing Vietnamese licensing support and other administrative work as needed.

Tutors and Interns
We have nine tutors (six women and three men) who work with our girls each week. Our female high school mentors run Story Time for younger girls. During the summer, we host four to eight college-age women who intern as art teachers."

Nguyen Thi Hoai Trang,
Art Teacher
Trang graduated with a Bachelors in art from the Hồ Chí Minh City University of Fine Arts in 2020.
She continued on for one year to study for her teaching certificate. Trang was originally one of the first art students of Rock-Paper-Scissors, and we are so happy to have her back as one of our teachers!

Nguyễn Quốc Khánh,
Music Teacher
Khánh is a skilled alumnus of the HCMC Conservatory, specializing in Theory, Composition, and Conducting. He has taught music courses at the Nha Trang diocese and various local centers. As the leader of the renowned band Kite Music, he has performed across Vietnam at numerous events and resorts. In addition to teaching, he is a gifted music arranger, orchestrator, and multi-instrumentalist.
