Both Lua and Loi live with their grandmother, and alongside school, they both have other responsibilities like many other girls. When coming back from school and extra classes, Loi is in charge of cooking meals for her family and doing the washing, while Lua is in charge of taking care of her younger siblings, whether it be bathing them and getting them dressed or looking after them to ensure they are safe.
